Miss Lina Hinds Is Laid to Rest Tuesday afternoon

The funeral service for Miss Lina Hinds, held at the LeValley church Tuesday
afternoon at 2 o’clock, was one of the largest held in that vicinity in many
months.  Rev. E.L. Sutcliffe, of the LeValley church, conducted the services. 
Mrs. Arton Benedict and Miss Anna Benedict, with Mrs. Sutcliffe at the organ,
furnished the music.

Ray Hinds, Earl Longfield, William Post, Darwin, Wellington Smith and Frank
Becker, all cousins, were bearers.  The girls of the class taught by Miss Hinds
acted as honorary bearers.  Mr. and Mrs. Byron Smith were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Norman McLeod’s Sunday school class, of which Miss Hinds was a member,
attended the service in a body.  Burial took place at Balcom cemetery.
