ARTHUR D.HINES
CLARKSVILLE - Arthur D. Hines, 77, retired carpenter of route three, Lowell, died 
Wednesday night at Belding hospital. He had been a patient there one day.

He was born at Kent City, August 21, 1889 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hines.

After living in the Pinhook area near Clarksville, several years he moved to Belding
and a year and a half ago moved to the rural Lowell address.

Surviving are his wife, Lovina; one daughter, Mrs.Lawrence Dygert of Alto; four
grand and three great grandchildren; four step daughters, and four step sons; one sister, 
Mrs.Clarence Bodell of Greenville; three brothers, Frank and Floyd of Alma, and
Emery of Clarksville.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:30 at Pickens chapel in Clarksville. Burial
will be in Clarksville cemetery.
