        MRS. GRACE HINES

   LAKE ODESSA - Mrs. Grace Hines, 90, of Rt. 2, West Musgrove Highway, died
Thursday at her residence.

   She was born July 19, 1888 in Ransom County, N.D. , the daughter of Benjamin and
Ida (Parameter) 
Stevens.

   Mrs. Hines attended school in North Dakota, Vermontville, and Normal School in
Mt. Pleasant where she 
received her teaching degree.

   She married Marshall Hines on July 24, 19920 in Britton.  He preceded her in
death in 1951.

   Survivors include one son, Hugh Heines of Lake Odessa; two brothers, William
Stevens of Farmington and 
Bruce Stevens of Santa Ana, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

   One son, Ralph Hines, preceded her in death.

   Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel of Lake
Odessa. Officiating will be 
the Rev. John Doud. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
