Juanita (Jan) E. Hines, age 71, of Lyons passed away June 26, 2007 in 
Lansing.  She was born April 22, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., the daughter of 
Clifford and Goldie (Gale) Foster. She was an honorary member of the Lyons 
V.F.W.

Jan is survived by her children, Denise Hill of Lyons, Victor G. Torongo of 
Hancock, Diana Torongo of Ada, Kevin Torongo of Lyons, Randy Hines of Lyons 
and Dawn Hines of Ionia; brothers Marvin Foster of Grand Rapids and Thomas 
Williams of Midland; sister, Madeline Weeks of Arkansas; a very special friend 
Vicki Currigan of Lyons; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, fiance Eugene Crampton December 5, 1992 and 
2 brothers and 1 sister.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Muir 
with Rev. Greg Gladding officiating. Burial of ashes in Palo Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends and relatives Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 
the funeral home.
