Phyllis Louise Hinkle, aged 65, of Cedar Springs - formerly of Ionia and 
Saranac, passed away Sept. 17, 2007.

She was born June 30, 1942, the daughter of Howard and Sylvia (Shippel) 
Starks. She married Troy Hinkle Feb. 19, 1980.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Troy Hinkle of Cedar 
Springs; children Aaron Harr of Morley, Brian Harr of Pierson, Kris Harr of 
Lansing and Monique (Tony) Reil of Six Lakes; stepchildren Brian and Francine 
Hinkle and Eva and Dan Bandy, all of West Virginia; brother Larry Starks of 
Ionia; brothers-in-law Curtis (Charla) Hinkle of Wayland and Russell (Elaine) 
Hinkle of Wayland; grandchildren Justin, Brandon, Sunshine, Shalimar, Bridget 
and Brooke and mother-in-law Emma Hinkle.  Phyllis is preceded in death by her 
parents.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Mr. Nicholas Mihailoff officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives until time of service. Internment at Marne Cemetery. In lieu of 
flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Family.
