She was born May 27, 1906, in Douglass township, Montcalm county. She married Albert Hopkins in 1923. He survives. Also surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Arthur (Cleo) Hemmingsen of Sidney, Mrs. Betty Lou Johnson of Morley and Mrs. Larry (Shirley) Nostrant of Remus, three sons, Albert of Orleans, Raymond of Belding and Floyd of Sheridan; four brothers, William Jeffrey and Guy Jeffrey of Sheridan; Clinton Jeffrey and Donald Jeffrey of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Krycinski of Greenville, Mrs. Ethel Klinesmith of Edmore and Earcle Hopkins of Fenwick; 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter. Services are Saturday at 2 pm from the Stebbins-Simpson funeral home in Sheridan with Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community church officiating. Burial is in Sunny Hill cemetery near Palo. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Thursday and Friday from 7 to 8:30 pm.
