Daily Sentinel- Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1911

Mrs. Sarah Ann Hire, aged 66 years, died Monday at the home  of her son, Wm. 
Hire, just north of the Prairie Creek hotel. Heart disease from which she has 
suffered for some time was the cause of death. Mrs. Hire came here about two 
months ago to make her home with her son, coming from Charlotte. The burial 
will be at that place Wednesday, the remains being taken from here to Charlotte 
Wednesday morning.
