Ionia Daily Sentinel, 2 Feb 1949

Services for Leo Hiscock, Ionia merchant, who died unexpectedly Saturday 
morning, were held from the Myers funeral home Tuesday afternoon.  Bert Fox 
conducted the Masonic services.  Dr. Howard A. Smith officiated.  His bearers 
were Arthur Fox, Earl Curtis, Edmond Gooding, Dale Kauffman, Max Pierce and 
Frank White.  Interment was at Taylor cemetery near Ganges.

Relatives attending his services from out of town were L. B. Plummer of 
Kalamazoo; Mrs. Rolland Jones, Mrs. Leon Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Plummer of 
Olivet; Mr. and Mrs. A. G. O’Neal of Saugatuck; and Mr. and Mrs. M. Morton, 
Mrs. Tena Williams, Mrs. J. Simonson, Mrs. Mary Steadman, Mr. and Mrs. Ray 
Thayer of St. Johns, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Reams of St. Johns.
