Her life was nearly co-extensive with this century. She was born in Windsor, Vermont, in the year 1799. In childhood she removed, with her people, to Allegheny County, New York. This remained her home until she came to Michigan with her husband and children in June 1846. In October 1859 she was left a widow. Two of her four sons have also passed on before her. Two are living, Newell S. and Edward. The deceased became a member of the M. E. church in 1840, and ever since lived a righteous Christina life. The funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. A. E. Face, a niece, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, and the body was laid beside that of her husband in Orleans cemetery.
