The Ionia Standard, Friday, January 27, 1911

Mrs. Luzanna Hoadley, Easton pioneer resident of more than half a century, 
passed into the great unknown at 4 o’clock Friday morning, at ripe age of 84 
years.  The husband with whom she came to Michigan from New York state, died 
ten years ago.  The farm home where she lived this long while and reared her 
family of five children, is about one-half mile west of the Easton M.E. 
church.  The children are: Ralph Hoadley and Mrs. Mary Flegler, residents of 
Osceola county; Morris Hoadley and Mrs. Mida Sparks at home; and Mrs. Ida Howe 
of Ionia.  Funeral on Sunday, from the late home.
