Daily Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1941

Mrs. Etson Hoard, 65, died Monday at 5:00 p.m. at the Ionia Community hospital 
from a cerebral hemorrhage suffered November 15. She had been in poor health 
for the past two years.

He had made her home in Palo for the past 1 1/2 years, and before that time had 
lived at Ovid. Born January 3, 1877, in Clinton county, she was the daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs. Elgie Nelson. In 1899 she married Etson Hoard.

Surviving are the husband; twin sons, Marion and Mason and Howard of Annville, 
Pennsylvania, and another son, Myron, of Redding, Pa. Also two grandchildren 
survive.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Boynton funeral home Thursday at 
1:00 p.m. with Rev. F. G. Dunbar officiating.

Interment will be at South Bingham cemetery in Clinton county.
