Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 Aug 1944

Final rites for Etson Hoard, 82-year-old Palo resident, were held Monday
afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Boynton funeral home.  Rev. Dwight M. Kitch,
pastor of First Methodist church officiated and burial was in South Bingham
cemetery, Clinton county.

Pall bearers were Francis Ritz, Archie Gilson, Floyd Hoard and Fred Hoard.

Attending services from away were Floyd Hoard, Fred Hoard and Mrs. H. Gadrion of
Ithaca; Mrs. Alvina Johnson of Davison and Marion Hoard of Mason.
