The Ionia Daily Sentinel, March 14, 1910

Ann C., wife of John Hodge, aged 71, died Sunday afternoon at two o’clock.  
Funeral from the home in Easton, Wednesday morning at ten o’clock.  Burial in 
Easton cemetery.

Mrs. Ann C., wife of John N. Hodge, of Easton, died on Sunday after an illness 
of four months.  Her age was 71 years and nearly four months.  She was a 
daughter of the late Silas Finch, and came here with her parents from New York 
state when one and a half years old, so that she had been a resident of the 
county very close to 70 years.  She leaves a husband and two children: Mary, 
wife of John Rier, and Louisa, wife of Guy Conner, both of Easton.  The 
funeral service, conducted by Rev. Mr. Kenyon of Orleans, will be held at the 
home, on Wednesday at 10 a.m.  Interment in Easton cemetery.
