Hodges, 65, of 1211 Kenwood, Belding, died early Sunday morning at Belding Community hospital after an illness of two years. He was born in Ford county, Ill., August 10, 1906. He was retired from Detroit Gasket Company in Belding due to an injury sustained in 1966. He was married to the former Bessie Carr, October 9, 1933, at Belding and she survives. Besides the wife he leaves tow daughters, Mrs. Jean McMillan of Belding and Mrs. Marjorie Scaravilli of Wheeling, Ill; three sons, Alfred, Jack and Gerald of Belding; eight grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Gladys Kerns and Mrs. Rachel Peterman of Greenville, Mrs. Nancy Mosher and Mrs. Ethel Runstrom of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Lucille Emmons of Cedar Springs and Mrs. Lottie Soderman of St. Johns; three brothers, Lloyd Hodges of Belding, Arthur of Williamston and Everett of Gowan. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm at Charles M. Courser funeral home in Belding. Rev. Jack C. Dunn will officiate and interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Ionia county. Visitation hours are Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
