Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Feb. 16, 1971

Mrs. Lois P. Hoeft, 73, died at her route 3, Portland home late Sunday night.

She had been a 4-H leader in Williamston and Portland and had worked as a fur 
finisher for Capitol Fur company in Lansing several years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donna Elliott of Portland and Mrs. Carla 
Newman of Tipton; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ara Woodward of Clinton, 
Ill.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Neller funeral home in 
Portland. Officiating will be speakers, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson of Bahai-
Faith. Interment will be at Danby cemetery.

Bearers will be Richard Traver, Benjamin Marion, Thomas Bunce, Nelson Hill 
Dorwin Bennett and Charles A. Smith.
