                              Geraldine Fern Hoenicke

Geraldine Fern Hoenicke, 90, of Portland, passed away on Thursday, Dec.2, 2010. 
She was born on April 19, 1920 in Portland, the daughter of Louis and Emma 
(Whitmore) Hoenicke.

Mrs.Hoenicke graduate from Portland high School in 1939. She received her 
teaching certificate from Central Michigan University and went on to teach for 
40 years in warren Public Schools.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; sister,Jean Larson; brothers-in-
law, Cecil Biggs, Melvin Larson and Kenneth Johnson.

She will be greatly missed by her two sisters,Beulah Briggs and Donna Johnson; 
many nieces, nephews, and one special niece, Shereen Lytle.

The Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ionia Area Hospice or Portland Public 
Library.
