DEATHS FOR THE PERIOD:  Clyde Thuma, Rev. Ronald Hoffman, Frances L. Gearhart 
and Jack Mapes.  Mrs. Gearhart was 99 years old and the same Frances Meadows 
who survived the fire that took the life of her mother in the house located at 
Creighton and Knoll Roads in Sebewa Township in 1893.  Mrs. Gearhart was the 
writer of the letter quoted in the June 1977 RECOLLECTOR as Mrs. Hoover, 
telling of an auto ride.
