Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Nov. 29, 1962

George E. Hoffman, 71, died at his home at 238 North Grant street in Portland 
Wednesday evening.

He was a member of Portland Methodist church and American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Elta, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Margaret Pearl of 
Lansing, three grandchildren one brother, Clarence Hoffman of Lansing.

Funeral service will be at Neller funeral home in Portland at 2 o'clock 
Saturday afternoon with interment at Portland cemetery. The Rev. Robert Treat 
will officiate.
