          HILDA MAE HOFFMAN
   LAKE ODESSA --  Hilda Mae Hoffman, 56 of Lake Odessa, died Sept. 11 at her
residence.
  She was born March 7, 1931, in Plainwell, Mich., the daughter of John and Sadie
(Cowell) Jones.
   She attended Lake Odessa schools.
   She married Richard Wireman, who preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 1974.
   She married Ronald Hoffman on April 4, 1984 in Lake Odessa, He survives.
   Also surviving are a son, Donald Wireman of Woodland;  two step daughters, Brenda
Gibson of Hastings and Carol Seering of Green Bay, Wisc.;  four grandchildren;  two 
brothers, Robert Jones of Lansing and Morris Jones of Indiana;  two sisters, Francis 
Boyd of La Grange, Ind., and Susie Hatlinger of Orleans;  a niece, Donna Maxim of 
Lake Odessa.
   Funeral services will be on Sept. 14 at 3 p.m. at the Koops Funeral Chapel in
Lake Odessa, the Rev. Richard Sessink officiating.
   Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.
   Memorials have been established for Lake Odessa Ambulance Service and Ionia Area
Hospic.
   The family will be at the funeral home on Sept 13 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
