Mrs. Mary Martha Hoffman, 56, of 672 Lawton street, Ionia, died unexpectedly at 
the Ionia County Memorial hospital late Wednesday, where she had been a patient 
for two days.

Born November 27, 1900, in Ionia, she was a daughter of John and Arnes (Smary) 
Krywanski. She was married to Paul Hoffman September 1, 1923 and was a member 
of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and a member of St. Ann's Rosary circle.

Surviving are her husband, Paul; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Arens of 
Ionia, and a grandson three brothers, George, Frank and Mike Krywanski; two 
sisters, Annie Krywanski and Mrs. Thomas (Helen) Lehman, Ionia.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Myers funeral home and funeral 
services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic 
church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
