Father Eugene Fox of Hubbardston sang the requiem mass, assisted by Father Thomas Beahan of Imlay City as deacon. Mrs. Hogan, whose name was Ann Coonan, was born in Tipperary, Ireland, in 1842. About 1865 she came to Michigan and had lived in North Plains township since that time. She is survived by six sons, James and Thomas of Ionia, Patrick, John Cornelius and Perry of North Plains and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Beahan, of North Plains, at whose home she died.
