Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 16 Jan 1943

The funeral for Thomas R. Hogan, sr., formerly of Ionia but recently of Grand 
Rapids, was held from St. Andrews Cathedral in Grand Rapids, Wednesday morning 
January 13, at 9 o’clock with burial at Lyons beside his wife who died in 1929.

Bearers were his two sons, Thomas Hogan, jr., and Cornelius Hogan and three 
brothers, John, Perry and Cornelius and his nephew, Palmer Beahan.  Relatives and 
friends attended from Hubbardston, Muir, Portland, Lyons, Ionia and Muskegon.
