Hogan wishes to acknowledge an oversight in Clark Hogan’s obituary, which appeared in the Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001 edition of the Sentinel- Standard. Michael referred to the oversight as “inexcusable and unthinkable” and wishes to publicly apologize for it. Mary Neal, a dear and invaluable friend and virtual daughter to Clark was not mentioned in his obituary. In the last 10 or 11 years of Clark’s life, Mary was like a daughter to him and gave to him and his family unselfishly of her time and herself. Clark loved her dearly. The Hogan Family has an incalculable and eternal debt of gratitude to Mary and she will always be considered a member of our family.
