Hogan, 87, a retired farmer, died Monday night at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Beahan of rural Fenwick, where he had made his home several years. He had been in ill health about six months. He was born March 16, 1874 in North Plains township and spent his entire life in that area. Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Mary Beahan; two brothers, John and Perry Hogan of rural Muir, and several nieces and nephews in the Ionia vicinity. The body is at Burns funeral home in Carson City. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist church at Hubbardston with burial at the church cemetery. The Rev. Fr. E. R. Fox will officiate and bearers will be nephews of Mr. Hogan.
