Michael C. Hogan, 81, of Hubbardston, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at 
Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw.

Mike was born Sept. 1, 1930 in North Plains, the son of Thomas and Anna (Feyan) 
Hogan. He graduated from St. John the Baptist Catholic High School in 1948. 
After graduation, he owned and operated Hogan Dairy Farms until 1991 passing 
the business on to his son, Michael. He continued to mentor his son for many 
years and was active on the farm until his death.

Mike married Camilla Riley on Oct. 5, 1995 at St. John the Baptist Catholic 
Church where he was a life long member. Mike enjoyed baseball, hunting, dancing 
and bowling.

He is survived by his wife Camilla of Hubbardston; children, Kathleen (David) 
Hutting of Haslett, Phyllis (Terry) Bernath of Lansing, Michael (Susan) Hogan 
of Hubbardston; 10 grandchildren; and step children Kevin Riley of Grand 
Rapids, Annette Riley of Lansing, Mark (Lori) Riley of Lansing. 

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Jackie in 1987; and 
siblings, Gerald, Martin, Mary Catherine, Donald and Margaret.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. 
John the Baptist Catholic Church, Hubbardston with Fr. Tom Thompson 
officiating. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Visitation 
will be held Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the Lux and 
Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society or 
Carson City Area Food Pantry.
