She was born August 23, 1921 in Portland, the daughter of Edward and Lena Schmidt Keusch. She attended school in Portland where she graduated from high school. Upon completing school she worked for Thompson products company. August 19, 1943 she was married to Dennis E. Hogan at St. Patricks church in Portland. They made their home in Ionia until 1953 at which time they moved to Charlottesville, Va. They moved back to Ionia in 1959 and in 1965 moved to Charlotte and in 1967 to Adrian and to Indiana early in 1968. She was a member of St. Matthews church in Hallandale, Fla. She assisted her husband as club manager at the country club in Leesburg. She is survived by her husband Dennis E. Hogan; one son, Dennis Jr., of Ft. Benning, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. William Crowley of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Russell Kortes of St. Louis; three brothers, Thomas Keusch and Edward Jr. both of Portland and Charles of Langston; and her mother, Mrs. Edward Keusch of Portland. Fr. Roger Dunigan, chaplain at Central Michigan University of Mount Pleasant, a nephew, will have rosary at the Boynton funeral home Friday at 7:30 pm and funeral mass at 10 am Saturday morning at SS Peter and Paul Church. Interment will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.
