James M. Hogan, 80, of rural route Muir, died suddenly Thursday evening at 8:15
at his home south and west of Hubbardston.

Mr. Hogan, the son of the late Patrick M. and Mary Hogan, was born in North
Plains township October 15, 1875, where he lived all his life and was a farmer.

Surviving are three brothers, Pat and Dan of North Plains township, and Den of
California, two sisters, Catherine of North Plains township and Mary of Traverse
City.

The body is at Burns and Gunther funeral home in Carson City until Sunday when
it will be taken to his brothers home, one and one-half miles south and one and
one-half miles west of Hubbardston, where rosary will be recited Sunday evening
at 8 o’clock.

Requiem mass will be sung Monday morning at 9 o’clock at St. John the Baptist
church in Hubbardston with the Rev. Fr. E.R. Fox officiating.  Interment will be
in St. John the Baptist cemetery.
