Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, May 26, 1983

PALM SPRINGS, Ca. John F. Hogan, 70, of 453 Saturnino, Palm Springs, 
California, died at his residence on May 11.

He was born November 26, 1912, the son of James and Lena Todd Hogan. He married 
Betty Buck on June 12,, 1936 in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia.

He retired from Weidels Mortuary in 1977 as a funeral director. At the time of 
his death, he was manager of Pacific Palms Apartments.

Surviving are his wife, Betty, one daughter, Katie Hogan; one granddaughter, 
Donette Shoenhoff; one brother, James of Detroit; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held May 17 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in 
Palm Springs, with the Rev. Thomas Flahive officiating. Burial was in Desert 
Memorial Park in Cathedral City.

Arrangements were by Weidel and Son Mortuary.
