Jan Michael Hogan, age 65, of Ionia, passed away in Grand Rapids May 14, 2007. 
He was born April 1, 1942 in Delhi Twp, MI the son of Gaylord and Wilma A. 
(Wirth) Hogan. Jan married Mary Kay Thompson July 7, 1973. He was a member of 
Ionia Moose Lodge for many years. He loved boating, fishing and golfing.

Jan is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Mary Hogan of Ionia; children, 
Lori Robertson of Morris, Michael (Mayuri) Hogan of Eagle; step children, 
Susan and Joseph Abraham of Lansing, Cynthia and Gale Ballard of Lansing, 
James Bush of Washington; sister, Patricia and Paul Petermann of Mears; 
grandchildren, Monica (Bush) Gomez, Angela (Ballard) Morin, Anthony Wright, 
Alicia (Abraham) Korroch, William James Block, Jennie (Bush) Dent, Sally 
(Abraham) Flores, Michelle (Bush) Ulrich, Christina Bush, Tyler Bush, Ronald 
Bush, Aaron Bush, Chelsea Fenner, Zachary Fenner, Bryce Robertson, Jordon 
Robertson, Alyssa Hogan, Nicholas Hogan; great grandchildren, Breanna Hill, 
Simino Gomez, Cameron Morin, Cecilia Flores, Baylee Block, Alex Flores, 
William James Block III, Izabella Korroch, Lauren Dent and Joaquin Flores.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 1 p.m., at Lyons-Muir Church 
with Pastor Bert Nelson officiating.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of 
Ionia. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Jan's name to 
American Cancer Society.
