Hogan, 97, died Sunday morning at 2:30 at the home of his nephew, Edward Kilduff at 648 Hackett street, where he had resided for the past 13 years. He was born October 24, 1856 in Livingston county, New York, and at the age of 18 moved with his parents to Michigan where he lived his entire life on a farm in Bloomer township, Montcalm county, before coming to Ionia. Surviving besides his nephew, Edward Kilduff, are two nieces, Mrs. Thomas Grace of Carson City and Mrs. Otto Reemus of Lansing. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock at St. John the Baptist church in Hubbardston. Interment will be at St. John the Baptist cemetery. Rosary will be recited at Myers funeral home Monday evening at 8 o’clock.
