Hogan, 54, of rural Muir, a former employee of the Chrysler Trim plant in Lyons, died Monday, May 11th at the University Hospital in Ann Arbor. Born in rural Mt. Pleasant on December 18, 1932, to Fred and Pearl (Walker) Robinson, she graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1951 and married Michael Hogan at Sacred Heart Church in Mt. Pleasant on November 8, 1952. She lived all her married life in the Hubbardston area, and was a member of the St. John the Baptist Church circles. Surviving are her mother of Mt. Pleasant, two daughters, Mrs. David (Kathleen) Hutting of Haslett, and Mrs. Terry (Phyllis) Bernath of Lansing; a son Michael of Muir; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Mindel of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Barbara Babcock of Elk Rapids, and one brother James Robinson of Winn. One brother Jerry preceded her in death. Funeral rites were held Thursday, May 14th from the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. William Reitz officiating. Burial was in the Church cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society.
