Born January 1, 1882, in Ionia, she was the daughter of James and Mary Duffy. Mrs. Hogan lived most of her life in the Ionia area. She was married to Edward L. Hogan in August, 1900. Mr. Hogan now lives in Jackson. Surviving are nine children, J.D. Cook of Jackson, Mrs. Ralph (Nellie) Gailbraith of Lansing, Fancher Hogan of Ionia, Mrs. Charles (Frances) Fancher of Mulliken, Richard Hogan of Ionia, James Hogan of Woodland, George Hogan of Ionia, Robert Hogan of Lansing and Mrs. Sheldon (Edna) Davenport of Lansing; 21 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one brother, Tom Duffy of Port Huron. Funeral service was held Saturday, September 20 at SS. Peter and Paul Church with Fr. Fons officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Hogan, Kenneth Cook, Jerome Cook Jr., Larry Hogan, James Van Order and Michael Van Order.
