JAN RICHARD HOGLE 1947-2017
Jan Richard Hogle, 69, of Ionia, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 at his 
residence. He was born Sept. 19, 1947 in Inyokern, CA. Jan is a veteran of the 
U.S. Marine Corps, serving as a Corporal during the Vietnam War. He loved 
hockey, especially following the Detroit Red Wings.

Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Colleen; three daughters, Heather (Bill) 
Maietta of Massachusetts and their children Emily and Jack, Jessica Hogle of Ann 
Arbor, and Bridget Hogle of Ionia and her children Haley and Victoria Banks. He 
is also survived by a son, Pater Flynn of Muir; siblings, Linda (Henry) Guikema 
of Greenville,Laura (John) Hodges of Trufant, Mark (Mary) McClear of North 
Carolina, Patrick (Lisa) McClear of Ann Arbor, and Nancy McClear (Benjamin 
Nathan) of Hastings.

Private family service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in 
Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Arrangement are entrusted through 
Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia. Online condolences may be made at
