Elizabeth Cabrera Magofna Hoisington, 48, of Belding, passed away suddenly
Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Spectrum Health Meijer Heart Center, Grand Rapids.

Elizabeth was born June 21, 1957, the daughter of Anthony Babuata and Martha
Cabrera Magofna.  She was married Oct. 11, 1979, in Long Beach, Miss., to Gary
Hoisington, whom she’d met Aug. 28, 1978.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; their children, Martha Elizabeth
Hoisington of Garrett, Ind., Jason Todd Hoisington of Belding, Catherine Marie
and Joe Wadakai of Saipan; three grandchildren, Antionia, Jonathan, Marie;
siblings, Catalina Stackhouse of Garrett, Ind., Vincente Magofna, Marie Pialur,
both of Saipan, Maggie and Len Edinger of New York, Frank and Pat Magofna of
California, Ana C. Magofna, Manny Perez, Antonia Magofna, all of Saipan; mother
and father-in-law, Nelson and Lucille Hoisington of Belding; brothers-in-law and
sisters-in-law, David and Jan Hoisington of Fenwick, Steve and Beverly
Hoisington of Greenville, James and Pat Hoisington of Stanton, Andy and Wanda
Hoisington of Belding; and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her and the lives that
she touched on the short journey that she was with us.  She will leave long
memories of the great dishes that she shared with her family and friends.  Sleep
in peace my love.  We will be together again.

Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding,
with Father CK officiating.  Interment will follow in Otisco Township Cemetery.
 Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Feuerstein
Funeral Home, Belding.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American
Diabetes Association.
