Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Jun 1968

Mrs. Nellie L. Holaday, 64, of Lyons, widow of Clifton Holaday, died Thursday at
Ionia County Memorial hospital following an extended illness.  Born in Lyons,
January 10, 1904, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Allen.  She was a
graduate of Lyons high school and attended Mt. Pleasant Normal.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Clements of Greenville; one sin, Dewey
Holaday of Durand, four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Martin of Lyons,
Mrs. Kathleen Beebe of Grand Rapids; one brother, Stanley Allen of Lyons.

Body will be at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home until noon Sunday when it will be
taken to Lyons Baptist church for services at 2 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Dell
officiating.  Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.
