The Ionia Standard, Friday, April 13, 1888
Mrs. Sarah Holbrook mother of Chas. Holbrook of Danby, and for many years a 
resident of Portland, being one of the pioneers of Ionia county, died at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert White at East Tawas on Sunday last, aged 80 
years.
