Ionia Standard, 20 Feb 1914

Mrs. Wm. Holcomb died at seven o’clock Friday evening at her home in Ionia 
township on the Steele road, after an illness covering two years.  She was 69 
years old.  She leaves, besides her husband, two sons, Floyd and Charles.  The 
funeral was held at home at one o’clock, Tuesday afternoon.

The funeral service for Mrs. Will Holcomb was held at the residence north of 
the city, Tuesday p.m.  Rev. R.B. Chapman officiated and Mesdames Willis Peck 
and Henry Robertson sang.  Interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
