Ionia County News – Thursday, 11 May 1950

Charles H. Holcomb died at 4:30 Monday morning, May 8, on the farm where he 
had lived for 80 years.  The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Holcomb, he was born 
August 24, 1869.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. June Listerman, who lived at 
the home farm and cared for her father; a brother, Earl, of Ionia, and two 
grandchildren, Mrs. Holcomb died in 1936.

Rev. Paul L. Steward officiated at the funeral service held Wednesday 
afternoon from Myers Funeral home.  Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
