Holcomb occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Wiley in Orleans after several months of poor health. The deceased was one of the early settlers and had lived on the farm where she died ever since her marriage to Milton J. Holcomb, who passed away about fifteen years ago. Mrs. Holcomb was eighty-one years old, a woman loved and respected by all who knew her. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon. Rev. W. E. Doty officiated, and the interment was made in River Ridge cemetery. She always had attended the King family reunions. Besides her daughters, Mrs. Wiley, and Mrs. Will Cobb, she leaves a brother, Kim King, and three sisters, Mrs. M. S. Boss, Mrs. L. C. Devendorf of Otisco, and Mrs. W. H. Howe of Fairplains.
