Ionia Daily Sentinel - 18 January 1967
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at Stone-Kauffman funeral home in Ionia 
for Dey E. Holcomb a longtime resident of Easton and Orleans townships.  Rev. 
James Kendall will officiate with interment at Highland Park cemetery.  Mr. 
Holcomb died Tuesday at the Ionia hospital.  He was born February 26, 1888 in 
Easton township the son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Holcomb.  He was married in 
Casnovia in 1913 to Nina Adams, who died in 1920, and in 1942 married Audrey 
Moore who died in 1955.  Mr. Holcomb was a former member of the Banner Grange 
and for the past several years wintered in Florida.



He is survived by one son, J. B. Holcomb of Easton township three daughters, 
Mrs. John Leland of Orleans, Mrs. Marion Munn of Ionia and Mrs. Gerald Tingley 
of Cadillac; sixteen grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, 
Mrs. Ora Woodard of Ionia.
