MARY "MARR" HOLCOMB

MANCELONA-Mary "Marr" Holcomb, 83 of Mancelona died Aug. 21 at her residence.

She was born on March 4, 1904 in Ionia the daughter of Mason and Lillie Floy 
Heydloff Brown.

She had been a resident of Ionia before moving to Mancelona in 1948.

She married Russell Holcomb on Dec. 24, 1923, in Ionia. He receded her in death 
in 1983.

She is survived by one son, Russell Merle Holcomb of Alba, two daughters, Laura 
Marr Kline and D.Louise Kline, both of Mancelona, two grandchildren, five great-
grandchildren, two brothers, Clee F.Brown of Ionia and Myron F.Brown of Muir.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Merle Brown o Ionia and Judd Brown of 
Florida and one sister, May Guess of Ionia.

Arrangements were by the Paullin Funeral Home in Mancelona. A graveside service 
will be held at a later date at North Plains Cemetery.
