The Ionia Standard, Friday, November 25, 1887
Mrs. Amarintha Holcomb, relict of the late Jesse Holcomb, died at the old 
homestead, just north of the city, on Wednesday morning.  She was in her 74th 
year.  Nine children survive her, all of whom were with Mrs. Holcomb during 
her illness.
