The Ionia County News, Thursday, March 12, 1941
Newell Holden, died at his home in Ronald township Sunday evening, March 8, 
after a long illness.  He was 75 years old.  Deceased was born in Ronald, 
October 13, 1867, and had lived in the county all of his life.  He was the son 
of Mr. and Mrs. Darius Holden, early settlers in Ronald township.  In March 
1901 he was united in marriage with Delia Reasoner of Palo, who died about ten 
years ago.

Funeral was held from the Stone Funeral home Wednesday afternoon and burial 
was in North Plains Cemetery.
