The Ionia Standard, Friday, October 29, 1915


August, nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Holden, died Saturday 
evening at 9:30 at the home, 518 Morse street.  Death was caused by 
peritonitis following appendicitis.  The funeral was conducted by Rev. C. E. 
Hoag at the Methodist church at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
