Edward was born July 20, 1935, in Belding, the son of Francis and Hazel Christian Holderman. Edward loved hunting, fishing, camping and most outdoors activities. He was an especially talented woodworker and gave many handcrafted pieces as gifts to friends and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jerry Holderman; his sister, Darlene Sherd; Katina’s mother, Noreen Cline; his third wife, Jean Holderman; and his nephew, Chad Dakin. Edward is survived by his children and their spouses, Sheree and Ed Lodholtz, Sandra and Randy Kuiper, all of Greenville, Jim and Tina Holderman of Belding; their mother, Joanne Holderman of Greenville; his daughter Katina Holderman of New Hampshire; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bonnie and Jim Dakin of Greenville and Ann Harden of Pellston. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services are 1 p.m. Friday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Kan Harger officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alvah N. Belding Library or to the Greenville or Cadillac city libraries for hunting and fishing books. Care and service were entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
