The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 12, 1970


Clark L. Holiday, 79, of 443 Beresford, died Saturday morning at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital.  He was born in Otisco township, April 30, 1890, the son of 
Charles and Emma Holiday.  September 28, 1914 he was married to Anna R. 
Patterson and has lived in his present residence since 1922.  He was a retired 
employee of Mitchell Bentley Corp.

Besides his wife, Anna, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Cottrell, and Mrs. 
Stanley Foote both of Ionia; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; 
brother, Lawrence Holiday of Morgan Mills and a sister, Mrs. Theodore Allison.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  
Rev. Nathan Hawks of Church of Nazarene will officiate and committal services 
will be conducted at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Easton cemetery.  
A memorial has been established.
