The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, July 28, 1914


The remains of Bert Holladay, the young man who died at the county house where 
he has been suffering from pneumonia since being drugged and left by the 
railroad tracks the night Young Buffalo’s wild west was here, will be shipped 
to the home of his mother at Uniontown, Pa.  Telegrams to that effect have been 
received from friends there.  Young Holladay it is believed was following the 
circus and working for them in some capacity.  It is likely that he was drugged 
and robbed at this place.  He was found by the tracks next morning.
