She was born in Woodland,MI on Dec.19, 1913 to Leonard and Rose (Garlinger) Wachter. Frances attended Woodland schools and Barry County Normal. On Oct. 5, 1935, she married Nicholas Hollandsworth and moved to Lansing whre she taught organ lessons and cared for her family. After retirement, Frances and Nicholas moved to Hastings on Algonquin Lake, and became winter snowbirds in Venice,FL. While in Hasting's, she attended the Welcome Corners United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Dr.Don L. Hollandsworth, D.O. and daughter-in-law, Margaret, of Flossmoor, IL; and her grandchildren,Michael,Brendan,Ryan and Erin. She was preceded in death by her parents; and in February of 1997, by Nicholas, her husband of 62 years. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday,Feb.4,2003 at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa Interment will take place in Lakeside Cemetery.
