Hollenbeck, age 81, died April 1 in Arab, Alabama. Mrs. Hollenbeck was born in Pewamo, Michigan January 26, 1883. She had been a resident of Chicago for the past 42 years but formerly worked in the Belding silk mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis L. who died in 1947 and her daughter, Mrs. Ruth Kirch, who died in 1948. Survivors are twin sister, Mrs. Fern Kyle of Chicago, and other sister, Mrs. Bess Eglie of Miami, 2 grandsons, William Kirch of the U.S.N. and Kenneth Kirch of Chicago, and a niece, Mrs. Vernon Mock of Glenview, Illinois. She was also a sister-in-law to Charles R. Hollenbeck of Belding. The body arrived Saturday morning from Alabama and funeral services were held that afternoon at the Huffman Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Dean officiating. Burial was in River Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Krupp, John Wilson, Clyde Creaser, Harry C. Johnson, Harold Caldwell, and Donald Waldron.
