Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 & 30 Mar 1989

Anna R. Holliday, 92, of Ionia died Sunday at Ionia County Memorial Hospital. 
She was born July 22, 1896, in Lebanon Township, Clinton County, the daughter of
Henry B. and Ildra I. Salisbury Patterson.  She attended Ionia schools and was a
member of Temple Baptist Church.

She was married to Clark L. Holliday Sept. 28, 1914, in Ionia.  They lived their
entire married life in Ionia.  He died Jan. 10, 1970.

She is survived by two daughters, Merian O. Cottrell and Betty A. Foote, both of
Ionia; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great
grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by a
daughter, Thelma, in May 1926, and three brothers, William, George and Clark
Patterson. 

Complete funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Temple Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Jim Houseman officiating.  Burial will be in Easton
Cemetery.  The family will be at Cook Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m.
and 7 to 8:30 p.m.  A memorial for Temple Baptist Church Memorial Fund has been
established, in care of the funeral home.

Complete funeral services for Anna R. Holliday were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday
from the Temple Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Houseman officiating.  Audrie
Randall was the organist.  A special ministry of music was rendered in trio by
Audrie Randall, organ, Audrey Tuller, Piano, and Dan Tuller, Hawaiian guitar.

Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  Pallbearers were David L. Fountain, Daryle
G. Fountain, F. Steve Fountain, and Galen T. Fountain.  

Following services, luncheon was served to family and friends at Temple Baptist
Church.
